About these terms
This website is operated by the Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association — Sussex Chapter. By using sussex.wsmba.uk you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Raffle ticket terms
- Raffles are run as small-society lotteries under the Gambling Act 2005 and registered with the relevant local licensing authority.
- You must be 18 or over and resident in Great Britain to purchase a ticket.
- Ticket sales close at the date and time published on the raffle page. Late entries cannot be accepted.
- Winners are drawn at random using a verified random-number generator on the closing date, and results are published on this site and notified to winners by email/phone.
- Prizes must be claimed within 30 days. Unclaimed prizes may be re-drawn or used to benefit the Chapter's chosen charity at the Committee's discretion.
- All refund requests must be made before the raffle closing date. After close, ticket sales are final except where required by law.
- A minimum of 20% of the net proceeds of every raffle goes to good causes supported by the Chapter.
- Full terms are published on each individual raffle page and take precedence over this summary.
Merchandise / shop
- Prices include VAT where applicable and are in pounds sterling.
- Payment is taken in full at the time of purchase via SumUp.
- Delivery times and costs are shown at checkout. UK delivery only unless otherwise agreed.
- You may return unused items in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Personalised items (e.g. with your name or Lodge embroidered) are excluded from the right to return.
- Faulty goods will be replaced or refunded in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Events & ride-outs
- Attendance at Chapter events and ride-outs is at your own risk. You must hold a valid full UK motorcycle licence, current insurance, and breakdown cover.
- The Chapter is not responsible for any damage to your motorcycle, personal belongings, or injury sustained during an event, save where caused by the Chapter's own gross negligence.
- Ride-outs are led by a Road Captain using the "Second Man Drop-Off" system. A safety briefing is given at the start of every official ride — riders are responsible for following it.
- The Chapter reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or re-route any event due to weather, safety, or circumstances beyond our control.
Your account (if applicable)
- Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Don't submit false information. Don't attempt to gain access to parts of the system you're not authorised to use.
